Step 1: In-Home Evaluation & Finish Planning
We start by assessing the condition of your cabinets, discussing your goals, and helping you select the right colour and finish for your space. This ensures the final result fits your home, your style, and how you use your kitchen day to day.
Step 2: Careful Removal & Labeling
Doors, drawer fronts, and hardware are carefully removed and labeled to ensure everything is reinstalled perfectly. This allows us to refinish each piece properly while keeping your kitchen organized and functional throughout the process.
Step 3: Full Protection of Your Home
Floors, countertops, appliances, and surrounding areas are protected before any work begins. We set up proper containment and ventilation so your space stays clean, safe, and respected from start to finish.
Step 4: Professional Cleaning & Surface Preparation
Cabinet surfaces are thoroughly degreased and cleaned to remove built-up residue, oils, and contaminants that interfere with adhesion. Proper preparation is the foundation of a finish that lasts, and it’s where most shortcuts happen in lower-quality work.
Step 5: Detailed Sanding & Surface Conditioning
We sand and condition all surfaces to promote strong bonding and a smooth final appearance. Imperfections and old hardware holes are addressed as needed to ensure a clean, refined base before any coatings are applied.
Step 6: Cabinet-Specific Bonding Primer
A high-adhesion primer designed specifically for cabinetry is applied. This step ensures proper bonding, blocks bleed-through from previous finishes, and creates a uniform base for long-term durability. This is a key difference between professional refinishing and basic painting.
Step 7: Professional-Grade Finish Application
Your selected finish is applied in multiple controlled coats for consistent colour, smooth texture, and long-lasting performance. Each layer is applied with care to achieve the refined, factory-like look N-Hance is known for.
Step 8: Lightspeed® Nano Curing
We use the N-Hance Lightspeed® Nano curing system to accelerate curing and strengthen the finish. This technology creates a harder, more durable surface and allows your cabinets to be put back into use faster, without extended downtime.
Step 9: Precision Reinstallation & Final Adjustments
Doors and drawer fronts are carefully reinstalled, hinges are adjusted, and new hardware is installed if part of your project. Every detail is aligned for proper function and a clean, finished appearance.
Step 10: Final Walkthrough & Care Guidance
